    Leaping lizard

Put the boat in this morning for an overdue session and was met with a bloody brown river. Rain ,floods, dam releases and now the river dredging getting rid of the sediments deposited in January. We soldiered on tossing lures but we did it tough. scored a few bream just inside Bulimba creek and mate Jez took out the day with a solid lizard. I would have called it for a trev. Hit the lure made a run straight out for deeper water changed direction into the current and turned on the speed and next launched itself into the air like a polaris missile. Personally I think he was jumping out of the water to clear the dirt out of his eyes.

Nice one Jez&Chief , the river sure has dirtied up . just started coming good after the flush from the release then the dredge started. was not long back (2 weeks)the dolphins were back and the bait fish were happening right across the river in patches but it`s all gone pear shape again. I`ve been slack lately but will keep you posted with some updates in the future. Cheers Andrew

Nice flatty, fishing was bit tougher on the weekend compared to normal. I think the river has cleaned a little though compared to 2 weeks ago, it was really dirty. Their was a solid dirty water line thou near the pipeline on the run out.

Jesse funny mate I didn't know it was you at first. I thought something must have fell off the back of my tray and someone was giving me the heads up. Hey mate try the creek where the trawlers were moored. They've moved every boat off the moorings and you have a heap of sticks to throw around . A few big bream there. Mxte i fished the run in and the water was crap and on the top of the tide the dredge came down to around Incitec and ruined the whole area. The run out from the creek kept the dirty water out and thats where the bream were. In the cleaner water.
