    Sailing Ban - Lake Eyre

Ever heard of the Lake Eyre Yacht Club? Well apparently they can't sail on the Lake anymore.

"National Parks has halted sailing on the normally dry lake which recently filled from floodwater - until permission can be obtained from its native title claimants, and the Arabunna people have refused access to Lake Eyre citing its spiritual significance."

'Spiritual significance' - gimme a break.

How does sailing a boat across water that's not normally there desecrate an area of supposed 'spiritual significance'?

Just another frivolous land rights claim, I reckon, probably to extract a dollar out of someone...

Oh hell me and a mate have been eyeing off a couple of old hobies that haven't moved in a blokes front yard for 10 years that we were going to take over for the regatta.

If you've ever complained about a boat launch you should see the one there.

Do a search and think about that crotch rot from the extra salty water and chafe- ouch

Might have to buy a land sailer instead
