Thread: Inflatable Boat Floor

    Inflatable Boat Floor

Because of space limitations bought an inflatable boat. Made of heavy PVC but no where near Zodiac strength and boat floor is the pump up PVC air ribs.

Looking at making up a floor with those 2foot rubber squares that lock together, if you have another alternative would appreciate comments.

    Thanks

Piece of plywood- not very tight , sand smooth and epoy it. Will give you a nice solid floor.

Adding a flexible material won't do much but add weight. Need something that doesn't create pinch points when the floor moves

Depending on the size I was thinking about replacing the floor in mine with the tops of those slatted alli camp tables that roll up

Easyrider, saw a similar AL set up, but the roll up AL was held in place each side via a clamping arrangement

Mine has a ply floor and it just sort of locks into under the inflated tube so I would think that the alli would the same
