    Unfortuantley Levy, Duty and the like are exempt from being called a tax. That way the levy on fuel can also have GST applied to it too

    Chris, while I agree that freshwater fishing's share of Qld's total tourism $$$ is not huge, it is many millions and for many country towns and regions it's the only permanent attraction they got.


    Also can you expand on the SEQ Water move, or maybe a link? I haven't heard of this yet, ATM stocking groups are still putting fingerlings in, I know their Rec User Plan should be out late this year (or maybe next).

    Working on the SEQW thing as we speak. So far nothing linked or written but someone from a restocking group was told no to restocking in a major dam north of Brisbane recently.

    When something either 'policy based' or 'written down' comes of it, I'll be sure to post. I thought it important enough to mention now so it doesn't get momentum.
