    Hey does anyone know what type of trevally this is?

    Caught in a gold coast canal 46cm

    Deff a big eye mate.. usually get em at night time... they are pretty aggressive buggers and are also prob the most common.. then small GT's
    dont knock on deaths door... ring the doorbell and run... death hates that!!

    i thought this one on the right was a bigeye?

    or do they kinda look different when they get bigger

    There both bigeyes I think Very aggressive trev. I got onto a few smaller ones last friday night.

    left is a tea leaf trevally and right is a bigeye..im my eyes they certainly arent the same species!!

    the photo doesn't really show it but it had some small blueish spots on it
