    Re: Trailers

I have a 2002 17ft sportsman.Solid construction, the boat easily drives on/off.Some surface rust coming through on the crossmembers but I allways submerge the trailer when launching/retrieving (although I wash it down after every trip).I would by another Redco when the time comes.

    Re: Trailers

If you have some time....look at a redco and then look at an equavalent current model BELCO...the difference will be obvious.

The price will be similar, but you will most likly have to wait for the Belco.

If you are not tight for money.....have a look at FMS

    cheers
Its the details, those little details, that make the difference.

    Re: Trailers

They seem to be a decent trailer. I have owned one and once set up properly and normal maintenance it gave me no grief.
They are built to a price like anything though and there are better and worse trailers out there so it will pay you to look at all the alternatives.

I agree to have a look at Belco as well as some of the other smaller operators particularly if you want something more custom to your needs..
