Corker of an idea?
Hey Ausfishers
I am sure someone knows this... my expensive daiwa graphite with cork handle needs some lovin'... what would you recommend I use to freshen up the cork grip. Sand it a little lightly and then apply.... what?
Linseed oil?
Any suggestions welcome.

Re: Corker of an idea?
After lightly sanding them back apply anywhere from 2-6 coats of Tru-oil gun stock oil rubbing lightly between each coat with some fine steel wool. It will darken your grips up a little but is great gear for protecting them.

Thanks Mark
Don't have gun oil, is linseed any good? I just love the smell. Takes me back to cricket as a kid, when you used to oil your bats and then knock em in... espcially important to knock in hte edges of my bat.

Jim I don't really know about the lindseed oil on cork. I don't think it will seal the cork and the feel in the hand will be nowhere near as good as the Tru-oil. The Tru-oil is very cheap and lasts for ages. You can get it from most gun shops.
