Caught this in Bribie Passage today and have never seen the like before. It had faint yellow spots and its lower lip was quite protruding. Apologies for the photo with wide open mouth but didn't think to try and get a better snap at the time.

hey mate looks like a tea bag or better known as a hump headed trevally
Put up a hell of a fight on light line. Bit hard to tell from the pic but it didn't have another dorsal fin like most other trevors.
Mike, didn't have the filaments of a Diamond Trevor. It looks like juvenile long nosed trevor butdoesn't look anything like an adult LN
not one of those Cale cale trevs is it?
yeah id say cale cale aswell, but they are all good on light tackle.

Strangled trevally by the look on its face, sorry I couldn't help myself
It could be a Cale Cale just that that the lower jaw had such a huge protrusion, almost like the bow on those super tankers.. I 'll put it down as a Strangled Cale Cale.
Must have come pass northen Japan a few weeks ago .
Maybe if I put its false teeth back in it would change the shape of its mouth to make it more recognisable
