few fish from heron

hi guys
spent the last few days out at heron island with the mrs for a bit of a break, shot out one arvo for a 3 hour fishing charter. weather was fine the sharks were hungry at the first few spots but we still come home with a feed. coral trout, spanish, red emporer red throat and spangled all came aboard. well worth the 3 hours and the 4 days away.

Looks awesome, I'm heading up that way the first week of July and i'm hoping to get on the charter once or twice in the week. How was it? well run? plenty of fish caught etc?

mate was good. when your staying on the island, 3 hours fishing doesnt sound long, but when your only a stone throws from the reef, only took ten mins and lines were in the water, only 12-20m deep. as soon as fish hit the deck they were de hooked, we re baited and sent it straight back down. go out the first day your there, cos we ate our fish on our last few meals and still left some fish there! was excellent!
