Been catching a few small jacks, jew flaties, bream.... on the super light 2lb fire/12lb trace and tiny plastics. Unfortunately been gettin busted up also. Went with the Nelster tonight and he finally lost his jack virginity on a small jack. Then he got a nice hit and wound in while my sp was a few meters behind him, whack i was on to a solid fish. Endured four strong runs to the pylons with me having to run the opposite direction each time to get a better angle. With the fish way under the bridge he finally made it too the pylons on one side and ping gone. Fought harder than the last 53cm jack i recently landed on the same gear but ran exactly the same. Going to have to upgrade to 6lb fire/20lb trace. Spewin but would have let him go anyway. Will post a few pics when the nelster sends em to me. Gotta mark 3hrs of tests now and hopefully get up for a quick mack fish in the morn. When the photo was done the jack shot open his jaw and the hook went flying out. Had a bit of fun with the mack tuna on the slugs this morning from 5 till 6am.
