I went over the Herbert River yesterday and it was swollen and very brown.. It makes it very hard to catch fish around the Lucinda end of Hinchinbrook when it's like this. best bet is to get out on to the east side of the island if weahter permits or launch up at Fishers Creek or Cardwell to get into some clearer waters..
In 6 weeks time though it might be a different story.. just depends on how much rain we get between now and then.. It should fire pretty well though after it clears..

Thanks richard
Any more info on those areas fellas
cheers scott
if it stops raining then it will only take a week to fire at the southern end of the hinchinbrook . 6 weeks time is a lot to ask though . normally mid april is the last of the storms . but anything could happen this year the way it has shaped up already
