Hello all, my name is aaron and im a kiwi living on the goldie.
Ive got a 4.75 Quintrex bayhunter and I mainly fish the reefs of the gold coast, the seaway entrance if its to rough outside and sometimes 9 mile.
Im still trying to get my head around your fish species here, back in NZ it was pretty much only snapper that I ever targeted, so ive got my fish identification chart handy for those mystery fish . So.... yea, see you fellas out there!

Welcome to the board Aaron. How does the fishing here compare to NZ ??. I went on a guided trout fish at Queenstown, but no luck.

Id say better fishing in NZ for sure, wasnt uncommon for 4 guys to catch our quota of snapper in under a couple of hours of fishing, and your not dealing with 20 boats parked on the same spot.

Hey aaron, welcome mate. I do a little bit in the seaway but mainly up around Jumpinpin as i live at Jacobs Well and its easy to get to.
