Extending drawbar

Looking for ideas on how to extend the boat trailer drawbar for beach launching.

Its probably all been said in those previous threads. I've got an extendable that I just pull out from the main draw bar. If the boat was heavier I'd consider just unlatching the trailer and wheeling it in with the help of a big jockey wheel or skid. To pull the boat out you just wheel it in as deep as you want and float the boat on then tow the lot out with a tow rope.

Here's some pics of mine. Custom made from FMS Trailers in Brisbane at teh same timer he made my new trailer.
















This simply slips under the trailers draw bar into a sleeve. Then lift into place as the centre towball coupling attaches to the trailer and the lift onto the cars tow ball.

It is 3mtrs long. Very strong and gal. Costs about $600 give or take.

Best thing is no bolts, screws, clips etc.

Mate it is so easy and inexpensive yo can buy them all made up all they do iis hinge on the side bars of your draw bar have a extra ball in them that locks into ecisting ball and then has a hitch point in frot of it so all you do is drop your boat move forward then unhook your beachlauncher from the side and clip it in and then back up to the extended female

Here is how Belco did mine. Works well and is simple, quick and easy.
