Two recent quotes as trade in.
1997 125 Mariner 2/stroke. 590 hours with a full mechanics favourable report.
On a 150 hp 4/stroke Yamaha.........$2000.00.

On a 150 hp 4/stroke Suzuki...........$3000.00.

I got a couple of quotes for my 2003 Cv 115 in good condition from dealers on a new motor. Prices where $ 4-4500.

2.5 - 3k sounds about right; given it has had a bit of work done it should go for a while longer.
Easier to afford than a new one, depending on the buyers' budget.......
