    Fuel filters

I have three tanks on my CC. That means three fuel lines all to a 40hp yammie.
The only filtration I have at present is the small filter fitted to the motor.
Recent events tell me this is inadequate.

Can I get a quality fuel filter with a fitting to allow changing fuel lines as necessary.
I have only seen transom mounted filters so far that are fixed into the line. I dont want three filters.

    Cheers

yes, easy to just fit a transom type filter, but leave a short hose off the inlet with a fuel tank sort of fitting on it, and your hose just clips on as it would to the motor, all motor brands of fittings are available

OH, and fit a flilter that has a water trap in the bottom of it, a simple loosen of a wing nut sort of thing sees water emptied out of the clear bowl ,that lets you see water in it before you have drama.

Rando I have two separate tanks on the victory and two lines into one filter, each line has an in line tap. its the filter housing that provides the configuration. not sure if they are available with more than two inlets, but if not I wonder whether you could get a Y shaped fitiing so that two inlet hoses could share the same in port of the housing.
