Propellor brand?

I pretty much know what size stainless prop to get for my Evinrude 150hp just have to choose between getting a OMC Viper or a Solas.

Anyone have any idea how they stack up?

If they are the only two you shortlist to, then go for the Viper

Dont intend to tell you something you may know already so excuse me if that's the case.

But the 2 different brands will no doubt have different blade shapes (blade area, rake and cupping for example) even though they may be the same diameter and pitch. This could make quite a difference to how they perform on your hull. In other words, you may not be comparing apples with apples.

Which is why I am asking the question.
They are from two different dealers and I dont have the money to buy 2 props too compare, both dealers will swap them out for another of the same brand if the 1st size I try isnt right.
