    Reefs out from Gladstone....

Hey guys, just chasing a little direction if anyone is kind enough. Ive just upgraded the Southwind for a Yalta Craft 555 with a 150 fourstroke yammie

So now my range has increased some what. I was hoping to start hitting some off the reefs out from Gladdy, Lamont/Fitzroy, any thing and everything along our little strip of islands/reefs.

Would anyone be so kind as to give me a heads up on some spots to hit, hoping for the regulars trout/reds.....im not asking for anyones spot X but i would really appreciate some guidance if any one is willing,

    cheers in advance guys

The world is your oyster up there. Drop into your local tackle shop and spend a bit of coin with them and they may give you a heads up. Trout will be closer to the main reef areas, reds will be in the paddock areas both east and west of the main reef.

Yer cheers smithy, the amount of money I spend at our local tackle world the boys should go and catch the fish for me (great blokes and service by the way)

fitzroy reef surrounds good during the day for trout and big lipper, and if weather ok nrth est of fitztroy excelent for reds during the night ,, it about 120 kout to fitzroyand reef hopping out to there and usualy always get a catch from the reefs out to there .. hope this helps mate .
