GDeh guys, just wondering how the Barra fishing is at Awoonga in June. My gut feeling is probably a bit slow due to temperature, but would be interested in your views!
I'm not sure whether the temperature has anything to do with the fishing although the recent floods might!
\Not sure how many are left. read an article the other day and they reckon at least 30% of what was in there originally. I'm sceptical myself.
the dams are not fishing to well at the moment but there is the odd smaller barra being caught in mondy so i don't see why you will not catch them in awoonga as it has a lot more barra than mondy or had 2-3 million i think but not a good time of year for barra fishing anyway you would be better off in mid september
