    Exclamation RIGHT PROp 60HP FOURSTROKE

I am trying to determine the right prop for my 445 Allycraft Shadow pro.
I have a 604/s Merc, it is the 2nd one I had but I cannot get the right prop for this one.The aluminium one is a 10.75 X 12P hits the 6000 rpm right on but has poor jhole shot.
I ran a 12 1/4 X 13P s/s today but was hopeless max rpm 5000..Mercury has several Vengeance props anda 11.oD X 12P does any one knoe if this would be ok.Obviously I realise you get less deflection on a s/s prop.
Any advice would be great or someone that has the same boat.

Hey mate - different boat, but ive got a 60 merc 4 banger on a 4.5 poly CC, and I've recently tried(after a few!) an 11p solas(11.8x11P) which is going well..hitting 6000, no rev limiter and getting around 30/31knots(good hole shot)

    Your motor height correct?

Might pay to give Solas, the prop people, a ring direct. Not much they don't know.

Again different boat but same engine.
Put a Solas 11 1/8 X 13P on last weekend and was a bit improvment.
