    Chasing GPS marks for Trevella

I know this is a big ask, but I was chasing some GPS marks for off the Gold Coast in the hope to catch some Trevella. If you have any and want to pass them onto me, just PM me

    Thanks

450m to 600m east of the sea way then head sth, just hunt till you see the schools on the sounder. You'll need to ajust your range to about 30m or so and then shift down till you get bottom, not enough pixels otherwise
Alcohol doesn't agree with me, but i sure do enjoy the argument!!!

I think this gentleman is after marks for blue eye trevella which are caught on the seamounts well out from the continental shelf.

I think Finding Time is referring to water depth not distance from the seaway.

Well i'll try again , i seriously didn't think someone would believe i ment 450 to 600m from the seaway???

Head east from the seaway until your water depth gets to 450m then set your sounder for a 30m range and shift it down 430m this way you'll only be looking at the bottom 30m and start searching The trevella schools like that 450m to 600m range and if you have got a well set up sounder ( 1kw transducer) you'll have no trouble finding the schools, once you've found them set your drift patten and wind them up . We have had success in 550m about 10kms south of due east of the seaway. Use 14/0 circles and mullet also a lumo stick seems to help. Dont use to big a piece of bait, cut a mullet fillet into 5 pieces is about right, as they dont seem to like big pieces of bait! There's plenty out there but you do need to find them on a sounder first so if you dont have one get a 1kw unit!

Ps. No need to go to the seamounts at all, plenty 30nm out!
