    Burketown trip

    Hi fellas,

Looks like i'll be travelling to Burketown at Easter with a mate and his dad to do a little fishing. Now i've never been there before but they have and I was wondering if there are any 'musts' in terms of gear, locations, things to do etc that I should try while i'm there?

    I'm planning on taking a 3-6kg spin and a 6-10kg baitcaster.

    Thanks fellas!

A cast net is a suggestion. Live/ fresh mullet has always helped us up there. The Nicholson across the salt flats is good alternative to the Albert, just be mindful or recent rains and tides, makes getting over there a bit tricky.
