Not only the fish were biting at Bancoora!
This is my first post so hope it goes OK!
Fished Bancoora Beach last night from 7:50 till 9:00 and caught four Snapper all a Kilo each. All were caught on Squid cast about 70 yards out. The fish were not huge but bites were coming very quick, they got ever quicker because as soon as the sun disappeared the Mozzies came out and ate me alive and also a few other anglers down the beach. I just had to pack up quick and run to the car.
I will be back there tomorrow night after a bath in Mozzie spray and hope to catch 'The Big One'.
Has anyone got any tips for fishing Bancoora?

I had to Google Bancoora beach, I've never heard of it.
Just make sure you don't get any of that mozzie spray on your hands or bait.

It can also be known as Breamlea, it's a great beach and not too many people fish it as they just head towards Torquay area.
I didn't even think about getting the spray on my hands but you are right so will do my best not to.

Yeah that's the place. Went to fish it again last night but there was a very strong onshore wind so will wait till it calms down a bit.
Have you fished it?
