I heard they closed the dam on thursday but it does'nt look like it does anyone know whats going on?
I was there on saturday and there were signs stating that it had been closed to skiing and swimming, but as per usual these people did not obey the rules and subsequently reeked havoc just after daybreak. Since fishing was not mentioned, i put the boat in. Found it tough as well with only a few bass boated, but then again that probably my lack of fishing time on the water more than anything else. Dropped an absolute cracker as well that pretty much busted me on heavy'ish gear.
Cheers

This is on the SEQWater web site, ( http://www.seqwater.com.au/public/re...ces-and-safety ) it says the lake is closed to all water based rec activities and ABT are advising that the bass comp there next weekend may need to be moved to another dam unless the water tests due midweek come back ok.
Are the signs at Maroon worded differently to the web site? Bit slack by SEQWater if they are.
