Bribie Is. Flatties (and a few of them!)

Evening guys n girls, had a trip to Bribie last night

Started wading around whitepatch dropping some plastics off the edge without much luck so shifted our attention to under the lights on the mainland side of the bridge.

Alot of baitfish around that seemed to be getting busted up by... tailor?? One got airborne and looked very tailorish but would be more of a guess than anything, wouldnt show alot of interest in our plastics regardless.

We moved west and started throwing plastics around the weedbanks just on the outside of the light on the water and within an hour bagged 5 flatties (well, I did. My mate finished up with a moses). Don't have a brag mat but you can tell by the pics that a few of them were quite sizable.

They were really on the chew and fought pretty well- great way to spend ya Wednesday night A great way to backup a Sunday trip of 5 1/2 hours in 35 degree heat trekking a local creek down in Lismore for a dozen bass. The effort is paying dividends even in the salt it seems

All released to fight another day

    Top effort. Well done.

The passage is fishing pretty hard at the moment so good to see you getting rewarded for the effort. Like you said there is bait everywhere at the moment.

I spent 3 and a half hours flicking plastics between toorbul and donnybrook today for not a single flathead hit, didnt get a fish of any other sort either, very quite..
