    Fitzroy coming back to life

After a rotten start to the year The Fitzroy is picking up slowly.
Richo lures saved the day once again and although there are stacks of barras about most of them are small

thanks for the report scotty. Any news on how the port is fishing??

    cheers from boony
Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
"Fishing was around along time before you darling"

    Hi JT and Boony
Good things from the offshore boys John, a mate Tim Lewis scored some horse redjew just east of perf today (they own a big cat)
In the river the fresh flow has picked up again so town has slowed
the pros are doing well down near the cut through apparently but joe average is still struggling a bit
Thommo and I hit the areas near the port where the water is cleaner and there is definite colour lines and we got a dozen silver yellow tailed buggers around 650mm today and just kept three for a barby
no sign of fingers or jack and only a couple of big kings working over the rocks at connors

    cheers
