BASS virgin and going moorga this weekend

hey everyone im going camping at moorga this weekend and is going to try catch my first bass but i wouldnt have a clue what to use as its my first time fishing freshwater, i use lures in salt water so im not after using bait just a little bit of info on what sort of lures such as colour or shape ect. if u can help it will be very helpfull

Try surface lures (poppers and dogs in the 50-<100mm size, night crawlers, etc) early morning and late afternoon/night. When the sun is up, target structure and shade with spinnerbaits (most colours work at one time, try different sizes from 1/8-1/2 ounce) and hardbodies with a tight action that work in the 1-3m range. Alternatively try blades.

ill have to go get some spinner baits , got hard bodies and blades and popers,
and then ill have to find some structure, is there alot of timber out there?
