There doesn't seem to be a lot of success trolling of late with the green water around.

Headed out Sunday morning with Dave & Macca , we couldnt decide on hutchies or square patch until we got out past green. With the northelies coming straight down the bay the decision was made, square patch. Current was a bit of an issue but we managed four fish, water was still green . Had a bit of a troll at sevens with no luck but saw a cat catching some small yellow fin.

Was that you in the barcrasher then that come over near us at the bait grounds north of the straddie bar, we were the ones in my mates Seafera getting live bait near Outlaw charters.

some nice fish there mm, it looks like it was fairly quite most places. good to be on the water though ay, beets doin the yard work anyday.

We did ok but had to work for a feed though lots of shows on the sounder but not a lot of takers, we Trolled the coffee rocks then headed out to deep tempest then down to around the rifles fished square patch back down to the 7’s where we trolled more using whole bonito got smashed there big time, all the fish caught was using bottom bashing gear, a lot of currant needed heavy weights to get down.
we had a good day, it was good to get out on the water and have some fun, good to see you did ok to mate it makes it that much more enjoyable.
