Which product for DIY antifoul removal?

I am wanting to remove the antifoul from my 5.5m aluminium centre console as I no longer keep it in the water. Has anybody tried the following 2 DIY products or can recommend a good one?

I used the Scomar product on a fiberglass hull. It works relatively well but be aware it is messy, takes a fair amount of work and it does not leave you with a completely clean hull at the end (I still needed to do some light sanding to get the final bits off).

with the exception of a really experienced blaster, there is no quick/easy way to remove anti fouling that does not involve hard work and plenty of it!
