Nice one once again mate i headed up there this morning as well i was the only boat at the ramp at about 1 am and it would have been blowing 15 to 20's so turned around and went home back in bed by three, glad to see you got a few
Hi all, after a top day on Australia Day I couldn't wait to get back out to spot x to see if there were still a few fish around. Sea breeze looked good, so decided to head out about 3am, it was a bit bumpy with a 10-12knt NW. I went out about 6mile to my mark and anchored. Not much happened til sun up. Then they decided it was breakfast time. First got 2 pearlies then a grassy soon followed a nice 3-4 kg spangled, then the floating pilly went screaming south and nearly spooled my 6500 bait runner, after about 10-min I had a nice 12kg Spanish in the box . Went back to the bottom basher and got 5 squire in a row. After that it all went a bit quiet so decided to head home and was back at the ramp by 10:0am
Cheers Dan.

Great catch Dan, I went up there as well and proceeded to bash my way to the northern banks some 65klm all for 4 fish. Sometimes it doesn't pay to do the distance.
