March Shelf Trip chasing Blues

Hi All,

We are looking at a couple of trips to the shelf in March leaving from either Bribie or Mooloolaba. Hoping we may get some other boats out there with us and maybe make a friendly comp out of it. March looks like the best time of the year for Blue Marlin.

We are a 21ft trailer boat so the safety aspect of knowing there are a couple of other boats with us is the driving factor as well as finding others that are interested in doing semi regular sorties and maybe a meet & greet.

While at this stage I have a full crew maybe those that dont have a ride but are interested can leave their mark here as well as boats looking for crews.

Sounds great as long as the weather plays the part.

I am a smaller boat so fuel range and sea has to be accounted for.

Will get an idea of where you are headed in the future for me to calculate figures.

This sunday maybe a trip to test the trolling gear on the closer grounds.

Geez Moses!!! If you can guarantee me a grander i'll be more than happy to pick you up from Byron coz i got no friggin idea what i'm doing out there, i've just got the boat.Just keep that between you and me but, if the others find out they might no want to take me.
