    Spinal

Hi All , Here is a spinal SPL 84 40/60 , it is a 2 piece full carbon blank , with a moderate action , I got a total build weight of 468 gram , guides are MNSG Fuji , the black thread is Gudebrod A and guides are double bound in A , the metallic thead is sulky bronze , I plan to use the rod for Span Macs and GTs and Yellowfin tuna . casting stick baits , poppers , but mostly Maguroni lures .

    Trout head

Looks nice mate. Copper has always been one of my favourites. Just a bit of constructive criticism, the coating has built up quite a lot directly beneath the guide legs where they come down from the frame and meat the blank. When constantly loaded and un loaded this can and will crack away from the frame legs allowing water intrusion. When you see a rusty guide its mainly located in this exact spot. Other than that it’s a fine rod mate.

can't go wrong with gold(or bronze) and black. based most of my early binding days on the same format never herd any complaints.
