Hi All,
Im looking at heading out to either hutchies or sevens tmrow depending on weather. Has anyone been out to either recently that can comment on the water clarity? Thanks in advance, Shaun
Headed out late to sevens, eventually arriving at 11am (!). Bar was reasonably good considering forecast. Had a mate with me who hadnt trolled for pelagics before so it was great to grab a couple of yellow fin. Trolled for about 2 hours with combo of deep divers and skirts, they hit both. Only small size but great fun on 12 kg line. We managed about 10 and kept three, awesome sushimi.
Viz at flat rock was about 15m so conditions seem to have returned. No birds seen, or debris, on the way over from mouth of Brisbane river.
No pics to post, as mate had camera, but we all know what they look like.
Yep, distinct dirty water line about half way across from bar to sevens running parallel to coast. Trolled it on way home but no luck. Looking to head out again this wend. Cheers
