have started looking for a new boat to keep the missus happy..dont get me wrong i love my 610 makocraft but am now looking for a boat capable of doing weekenders and longer stays on the water...i looked at a 232 coastal and was blown away by the look and finnish of this boat..it didn't have the same deck room i have now but more than enough for 3-4 fishing...has anyone been in a coastal boat as i recon it would ride unreal any info would be much appreciated

Rossco i have been so many times on 2300 coastal.
I can tall you, it is one very very good boat . This one was powered with twin HP optymax ,and faster we where going was 78km/h .. ( the owner say had him going in perfect condition 89km/h )
The same boat had early single engine set up, and was nowhere near good as with twin engine .
Huge fuel tank (someting like almost 500 l)
and u need good tow vehicle as they are very heavy boats
very comfortable and safe boat
we actually ones seat anchored at north barwon and massive storm came thru and hammered us from 0100am to 0500am .That night i just wane to see daylight again it was bad stom and very scary...
But wean daylight came, than i relies how safe and good wellcraft boat is .
thanks for the info mate..the one i am looking at has a single 250hp evenrude on an aluminum trailor...was told around the 2500-2600kg all up have a bt50 what can tow 3t.would put it over a weighbridge b4 i commited to it...was a very nice boat thats for sure
