Awesome effort mate - Just got back from 4 week holiday in vic, went out Mon+Tues mornings for zilch(Mermaid and out to 50mt line searching for blue water..needed to go wider but was getting too rough)...were you out this morning?(Palmy?)

damn i look good .. to bad we lost one and .. had a few that didnt' hook up .. haha and was sweet finally ladded a few on my new samaki vamp with my saltist 4500h .. what a great setup gee love sight fishing for spots ..

Nice fish guy's, timddo and i trolled hexajets and Xraps all day and didn't get one strike.
Mick - Even at the 50 fathom line there is no nice blue water.

Really? Looked pretty blue to me at around 20 fathoms east of the Seaway on Monday (but very green closer in). Water temp. was 24.9C, I think (but I'll check with my mate, tomorrow).Originally Posted by TIM D
