    Navman Tip

Had trouble with the tracks on a few Navmans and also slow to aquire. When you do a factory reset, in the system menu under DGPS it selects WAAS. I have found the unit will work better if this is set to NONE.

Sometimes the Japanese WAAS satellite is visisble (barely) so the system will slow down getting a fix or updating as it tries to process this info. So its better turning off WAAS or DGPS unless you are using an aussie DGPS beacon receiver.
Sometimes its better to look like an idiot than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.
