Fingal Heads Beach

Hi,

Has anyone fished off the rocks just south of Fingal Heads Surf Club.. I think its where the light house is/was... or off the beach there? If so is it worth dropping a line in from the shore? If it is, what sort of species can you catch there?

It's always worth dropping a line in. I fish from the beach regularly, encountering anything you would usually expect to find in a beach gutter. Lately it's Bream, Dart and Whiting on worms I'm pulling straight from the gutters I'm fishing. Some good ones if you persevere. I haven't thrown slugs or fished with any flesh baits from there for awhile but people are catching Tailor up off of the Tweed walls, which isn't far away.
