I think it will be a lot of work for very little gain, another knee jerk reaction IMO.
Give it a month or so & it will be back to normal I reckon.
It's a fishing exercise (pun) to find out how many understated goods are actually crossing the border and falling below the GST threshold. The results will be manipulated to prove whatever point needs to be proved.
I wonder if the actual data will ever available under FOI??
Sometimes its better to look like an idiot than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.
