done a solo trip to the rouse this morning, left from manly, only another 4 trailers at the carpark, and also only 4 when i returned, about 11-30
went out to the rouse, dirty water all the way, but no objects in the water
tried where i usually fish, but it was just on the outside of the dirty water mark, so proceeded to where i first saw Rosco fishing when i was last out there
bagged out on whiting with the 100 fillets going 3.1kg
there were about 8 boats out there altogether but i think some were from amity
also they moved around a fair bit so i dont know whether they got on to them like myself
cheers

That's a great session. Do you reckon the dirty water will reach Straddie and Moreton? How far from Amity was it today? be interested to hear how far it's stretched.
I was one of the trailers at the ramp this morning. I got 4 nice squire to 60cm in the dirty water early then a reasonable cod about lunch. the water was terrible at lunch right on the low tide, it was like coffee...
I was contemplating chasing some whiting but glad i stayed with plan A. Good to see there is still some whiting about...
was thinking bout headin over the rous this weekend if the weather plays the game.a good feed there robsue did you try for any squid.a good feed there lockie, good to see you back on the water again.will have to catch up for a beer down the footy soon
cheers rosco
cuzza, the dirty water was up to where the halftide gutter enters the rouse roughly
rosco......had a squid at the boat on a little reefie, but missed it with the net, i didnt get a touch on the squid jig i had out
the whiting started biting when the tide turned, i was using a para anchor to slow the drift
cheers
