Hi Team, once again the "things" that live around our area strike again .This time it was out of the water !!. The miss's work mate and family when for a nite fish last Sat ,putting in at the new ramp at Zilzie ,left @19.00hrs got back @ 2.00 and smelt fuel near car ,,,,you guessed it THEY syphoned the car tank!!!!.It was an older Nissan with a easier locking system and prob no theft device in the filler neck ,THE SCUM. (Scotty ,Bully this if you like)
they put camera's in streets now to stop drunken brawls i think its about time the start lighting up the bigger boat ramps with a camera on a pole. Its about time they do something!
I can't believe it....it seems like this sort of thing is getting worse around the area. If there not running your crab pots they are stealing fuel or parts of your car or trailer. Wouldn't you love to catch one of these idiots red handed, i think the old fish donga would sort them out

I was coming back to the ramp about 19:00 on saturday after putting in a few pots, but didn't notice anything odd, although looked like a few groups were camping for the night near the ramp.
You gotta go a long way from the ramp to find fuel at at 2:00am! Did they make it home OK?
Also pleased to report my pots survived the night unmolested.
Must also apologise for setting near other pots....one problem with guys hiding pots and and tying rope to trees..I can't see them! so just about sat on top of a couple of pots...sorry about that.
Anyway, caught a nice feed and still got all my pots!
Ok, just sounds weird refering to people as things....Well what else do you call some-thing that does that ??

Mate was probilily not the campers (unless) they had a boat. hopefully pot theives on hols OR flooded out!!!, & yeah did make it home
