    gold coast offshore

    hey
with two reasonable days of weather forecast im thinking of getting amongst the trolling scene off the gold coast leaving through the seaway. has anyone been out lately and seen any floating debris? if not, how long till you think it might appear offshore? i will be fishing 9 mile grounds.
    thanks troy

I doubt there's to much crap going out, but there's heaps of swell, I cant wait to get back outside either just check the swell before you head out, I'll be taking my family out in mine sunday but just in the broadwater near tipplers to try and score some crabs of any description and hope for some keepers , cheers

the water clarity is good at tweed but the fish numbers are shit you'd be better off staying on the 18's off the seaway there's more fish life up that way, the tweeds been dead this season, the game comp on this weekend has been a dud the whole fleet has caught jack shit only low numbers of fish, the water clarity is greener up to palmy north yesterday and goes out farly wide but there was some big logs down on the tweed the smorning but thats mainly due to the building tides at the moment and the swell at tweed bar and on the bommies was pretty ugly with a 20knot sw on it not a safe place to be today.
