Well I finally broke the metre mark! did it in style too, 125cm. We are still on the dam but have come in for something to eat. My mate has got 4 others too this morning and last night. Got some nice sooties in amongst them to. Here till tomorrow so hopefully will get a couple more

Here's some photos of the fish. I ended up getting 3 over the metre mark (125, 103, 100), an 80cm, and an 84cm and various sized sooties.

My mate got 5 as well, mostly in the 80's and 90's.. a great weekend and a lot of fun.

I must admit I was just going along for the ride and happened to get lucky on a few big fish. The guy I was with fishes a lot of comps and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to impoundment barra fishing. I was just following his lead on locations, gear and technique.

Not bad for our second time fishing the dam I reckon.
