    Brisbane Floods - Boat Storage

    Hi Guys,

With the flood crisis looming, we have room on our property at Cashmere (Brisbane North Side) if anyone needs room to store their boat, car, van etc for a while.

    Just give me a call.

Cheers & Best Wishes to all.

    Dido for the southside.
Room for 2 cars under cover 3 minutes from the intersection of the Logan Motorway and SE Freeway.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Moreton Bay Boat Club has just announced that the new marina – 80 berths – is available free to anyone who is currently on a boat in the Brisbane River.

not confirmed, just received email advising of this berth availability

Heard the same true blue but I believe the real problem is getting these yachts with minimal power drive capacity (they are sailing boats primarily) out of the Bris River given the water flow on the river with the flood water being the driving force and through the bay to the mariner.

Gotta feel for all as we did 36yrs back.

    Take care all

    Dave_S,

Moreton Bay Boat Club (Scarbrough) not Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club (Manly)

pretty confusing but all a bit late now.

We had about a dozen boats arrive at the marina today, and were expecting two more to arrive when I left the club at 6.30pm tonight. The offer is still there (and it is Free) if anyone is still able to get there boat there. There were some very shaken but relieved people in the club waiting to have a good feed, after having a hot shower and getting tarted up.

    Cheers
