ive done plenty of complaining to the mrs but braved it one day on the 30th in my boat, between the strong wind and chop and fresh water about didnt get a bite, and headed to the channels behind the rich people at redland new years eve and got a few small whiting and bream. Been back on the coach reading these forums since. Looks good for the weekend but still the problem with all that fresh.
hit the coomera for 25 bream 2 jack 1 flatty and a whiting on friday so they still are out there just gotta find em![]()
I'm walking over 40 mins on foot through crocodile infested waters (not to mention equally aggressive brown snakes and feral pigs) just to get to a fishing spot.
JEEZ YOUR KEEN!!!!!! QUAD BIKE?? must be a good spot eh plus i doubt you will be fightin the crowds for spot on the bank![]()
The windows to get out there are pretty small, ! so cabin fever has set it and cant help but feel the rego's on my boat/trailer are getting wasted for most of us,
good on those that get those lucky hours
since when did this forum get " spell check" ?
Ha Ha, just checked on the kiddies, they've got about 8 bed sheets out, must be cubby fever![]()
Get out there you softie, sitting on the couch feeling sorry for yourself isnt going to get you any fish, theres some great to fish to be had with this rain
Tight Lines
Just been out in the rain down here. Rain everywhere, my mate in Darwin can't get out . Just the once since xmas. Got one 420 whiting and headed in , I'll wait till it clears up.
Every time I've gone out, one of two things has happened.
1- It has absolutely pissed down and I've gotten soaked.
2- Conditions have been reasonable without too much rain, managed to catch lots of bait, only to keep pulling up 40cm+ catfish.
Cheers,
Kaidon
