100.0% $ 349.00 to my door its got ozy maps but can not be upgraded ,but i will be only using it for esturies in nsw it should be fine ,has anyone bought one of these units.

The company said that the warranty is covered by humminbird U.S. and they will pay the frieght ,but if there is any problem they just replace the unit .


Ok oh well here goes , ill let you know an update when i get it running

Just so you don't feel lonely talking to yourself I'll suggest looking at the second hand market. Lot of people upgrading so posting a "want" ad somewhere may be the go.

I have tossed up many options for what i need and have decided to go with the GPS combo 161
as it will do what i want it to ,i will only only be in rivers ,i recon this is a good buy for under $ 350 delivered to my door ,so ill try it out

Is there a BIAS boating shop in your area? I was in the local one (Tingalpa) near here a couple of days ago and they are clearing out some very decent superceded B&W and colour GPS and sounders at the moment - might even be worth a phone call to ask them what they have and delivery costs.
