Hervey Bay charter question

Hi All

Looking to put together a 3/4 day charter ex Urangan later in the year. Looking to fish reefs North of Fraser. Looking for recommendations of boats people have been on. I have looked at Time n tIde and Golden Phoenix websites. Is Golden Phoenix still in operation? I have sent emails and have not recived replies. Understand we all have IT dramas at times and Christmas period people get distracted. Looking at 8 or so punters. Look forward to your replies.

A few years back we did a run on Lapuna? Charters from HB. It was a 24 hr charter leaving Urangan about 4pm and fished a couple of spots on the way to anchouring at Rooneys. The next day was an early start for a fishing on the reefs and shoals outside breaksea spit before eheading back late afternoon the next day. Good trip, 10 guys, randell 50, good food, good skip and deckie.

Geoff Taylor's Time and Tide operation on Getaway would be the go. Kenny Radunz who has KJ will do overnighters for smaller groups. He goes well and it is a fast boat. Look up Herveybayfishingcharters.

I've been on most out of hervey bay, as Smithy said, you can't go past Time & Tide, Geoff won't stop trying to put you on fish. Another is Fish n Cruise charters out of Tin Can Bay, great boat with stabilizers, air con in sleeping area, great food, but fish scarce when we went.
