Hey all, me and a mate are going fishing up around crab island and the broad water, we are going to stay the night just wondering if you can camp on crab island or straddie without a permit or do you need one, we will prob do some crabbing does anyone no of any spots where might be worth giving a go, and we will be doing some night fishing for sharks, jacks, cod etc any spots?

Crabs; any of the channels with mangroves on the edges, zip over to the entrance of the coomera river.
Fishing; North wall of wavebreak isl, likely to catch anything there.or anywhere in the seaway. Watch for the strong current!!!

yes camping on wavebreak is ok over night, but you are supposed to go find the ranger on stradie( dont look at me i havent a clue) but im sure if you set up somewhere he'll find you...
