Dohles Rocks Land Based

Hey fellas,

Because money has not allowed me to go out and purchase a boat that i am craving, im stuck with fishing on land. And because i live 5 mins down the road from dohles rocks i thought i would see on these forums if i could find a thread that gave some advice on where to fish the area on land. Well i couldnt find said thread and so here i am posting my own.

Can anyone give me a general pointer towards the Dohles rocks area. Im not talking spot X's but a general point towards the right way. Ive fished the left of the boat ramp up towards that little creek and have only ever landed lizards. Ive heard to the right of the boat ramp there is a rocky section good for bream but im not sure if you can walk there?

Yep to the right of the ramp there is a rock ledge, ok for bream, there is a deep drop off there ...try to get some live poddy mullet or gar...and ok from the bank. In the other direction if you walk down the beach you can find a that little creek its good for flathead on the run out tide...ive also picked up some very nice whiting there...gulp worms work the best..in between if you land based its best to keep to the area from the bait shop back to the ramp, the bottom has a bit of gravel there.

Caught good bream out of the beach up towards the creek. There is some big whiting around that creek at night.
