There is so much to do and see when you go ice fishing. That's why I enjoy it, but you have to be from MN to REALLY understand it!

Some have never understood ice fishing.

Hi all great pics there. I lived in canada for a few years when younger with my father on post with the raaf. we were posted to cold lake alberta 300km north of edmonton.
saw a lot of cars and snowskis go through the thin ice in the middle of the lake during winter and most were retrieved during summer after it thawed.
To think back now it was great fun runnin skis across the thin ice in the middle of the lake at top speed feelin the ass end sinking into the ice snow 8 months of the year ahhhh i miss it now but the fishin got nothin on aus!!!

Wow thats one crazy sport there. Not only do you freeze your ass off you burry your car in the lake. Funny, wierd and down right looney but worth seeing it. Did u get to hook any fish there or was it mainly a photo shoot and to dangerous to get to the fishing spot. Cheers DD...

If I didn't see it , I would not have believed it. I suppose there would not be too many repeat offenders for that sort of parking mayhem.

Does it attract fish by having the new artificial reefs installed?

    Thanks
