    Re: Floods - Rebuilding..Anything required ?

    Hi all,

Thanks heaps for all the offers of help. Response from volunteers was amazing.
We went under, had 3.5m of water in our front yard, according to my boat's sounder. Downstairs had to be gutted but upstairs is okay with minor damage. After nearly 2 weeks since it all started moved back in tonight , hence finally back on the internet. Anyone in the Graceville area that needs a hand let me know.

    Regards,

    Richo

Gidday. I am in Victoria, a builder, and would like to lend a hand around the Tully area. When would be a good time to come up and as I will only bring a tent and the tinny, is there anywhere left to stay?
    Cheers, Gippslander.

I believe Banana Backpackers in Tully are open or very close to it, and good advice from Stuie too.
