New Years Day Coomera River

Hi all HAPpY NEW YEAR!!!!
Decided last night to hit the hay early and go out for a fish at the break of dawn
with the missus. Well I woke up at 230 to get all ready she got up at 5!!!! but it is the holidays so no worries and off to the ramp at 530. Started spitting on the way there so decided to hang around the pylons of the freeway bridges and chase a few bream. Had a great morning catching probably 30 bream in total with 7 Keepers all 26-28 cm not huge but good fun for the missus who does not fish much. SHe also got busted off by something big right near the pylons, loose drag,holding the line and trying to hook good way to slice your finger!! And then stuck her finger in the worm gear whilst trying to recover from the loose drag! Funny to watch as she almost went out the other side of the tinny .
Also went out to deep water bend on the 23rd round the freeway bridge there and got a few bream they are the second pic. No crabs either trip??? all fish caught on cooked or green kings

Hi there all were on bait cooked and green kings did throw a few plastics around but not a touch on them.
